Emotional Cage

Emotional Cage is a story about a new breed of human that are commonly called "The Caged". They are called that because they are unable to feel the emotion of love. This comic is based around a single caged boy named, Derick Rapier. Derick is just like any other "Caged" human except the fact that he wants out. To get out his "Caged" life, he has been searching for his "Emotional Key". An Emotional Key is a human not of the Caged race, that is connected to a Caged human. The Emotional Key can give its connected Caged human the emotion to love. (Note: The Emotional Keys dont know that they are "Keys". Unless they are found by their Cage). Derick is almost on the verge of giving up his search and going back to living his Caged life. Then a mystrious young man moves into the apartment next to his. Could he be Derick's Key?

The System: The System controls everything that goes on in a Caged human's life. The System is a network of computers located at the Base. The Base's location is only known by the Network humans. Network Humans control everything that happens in the System. No one beleives in anything anymore, not unless it is data from the System. There are very few System Hackers that try to get codes and other important data from the System to give to the people.

Humans: Humans are, of course, the normal inhabitants of Earth. They will believe anything that comes directly from the System. Humans have now became a race that depends on the System to plan out their lives for them. Fate is no longer there, just the System.

The Keys: The Emotional Keys are not controlled by the System. They are monitored by the System. If the Keys knew that they were Keys they could over power the System. The System "shuts down" any Key that has even came close to awakening. Making it impossible for Cages to leave their lives.

The Caged: The Emotional Caged Humans are a small, rare race of humans that are not only controlled by the System but are almost android-like. If the Caged had the emotion of love they would truely be human. The Caged is a race that is looked down upon by the Humans. The System uses the Caged for Network uses or just plain entertainment.

The System Hackers: The System Hackers are a small group of humans that want to free the Caged by getting information from the System. By freeing the Caged they beleive that they can over run the System.
